After almost a year of doing most of this pretty consistently, I've learned two more things.

One: Make sure you have a steady stream of income (pretty obvious).

Two: Have a story to tell.

The problem with many creators (and myself) is that they just want to be creators. So they digest ideas from other creators and vomit them back up, but they have little personal experiences to add.

But ok, it may work a bit, they may get a few followers and then they'll follow the "obvious path". They start writing about how they got followers... (been there done that too).

Don't.

Just do some great things for another year. Experiment. Excel. Then become a creator.
