It’s Time For Creators To Change How They Talk About Success. Here’s How:

What if experienced creators trying to inspire new creators actually demotivate them?

A bit more than one year ago, I joined Twitter again, like many others during the pandemic.

First, I followed a bunch of money twitter accounts but I quickly became sceptical and completely renewed my following list. Since then, I’ve been following creators of all sorts.

But I’m starting to feel like many of those aren’t much better. They’re just money twitter in a nicer jacket.

Listen.

On Instagram, we’ve got a bunch of extremely successful models. They made it by showing off their beautiful bodies. They travel to exotic locations and earn pocketfuls of money from sweet affiliate deals.

I’m not saying it’s easy money. It probably took them a lot of work to shape that body and find those deals. They’ve been watching their food since forever and use loads of expensive products and supplements.

But they never talk about that. Oh no, they prefer to tell others “You can be just like me”. And then they’ll even sell a course or an ebook. And many people will buy it. And some people will get results.
